Dont think i have cyano, but i may have encountered recently. what causes it and how can i control it?

can anyone post some pics of this stuff

Red slime remover has been known to crash tanks. If your tank has only been running for two months, it might still be stabilizing. In general, you might want to cut back on the feeding and wait a bit.

Cyano is a std algae/bacteria that comes with a new tank .. in large part because your tank doesn't have the numerous micro organism's that would otherwise consume the phosphates/nitrates that cyano feeds on.

In general cyano is no big deal .. unless its smothering your corals it isn't going to harm anything and I suggest you look at it as an inexpensive phosphate sponge. Just be patient and let it grow .. periodically siphon out the cyano (and the phosphates it has consumed).
