What is the largest wood tank anyone has built? It looks like a large wood tank is in my future.

I just finished a 540 that is working out quite nicely. I'm sure there are bigger ones out there. Theoretically, there should be not limit to the size as long as the materials and construction are adequate and sized appropriately.

The largest I have seen on the net is a 1700 gallon.

Are you talking about the 1700?If you are its made of wood with an acrylic front panel.I can get the link for it if your interested.
