Tell me if this will work or not for my 250 gallon reef and fish tank.
In an effort to keep my tank holeless, I have this idea of putting a large overflow box in the the rear center with no holes in the tank and the upper portion of the overflow box slotted for water suction( like all other overflows)
Question 1 - Would this work to have a turboflotor 1000 multi over the tank skimmer installed on my tank with the suction pump in the overflow box and of course the returns back into the tank,
Question 2 - also, I would like to put a eheim pro 3e cannister filter into the tank as well, putting the suction once again in the over flow box and the return back into the tank with some sort of a spray bar to move the water around.
I would also put my heaters inside the overflow as well.

For addition water movement, I would like to put a wavemaker system in?

Give me your thoughts and tell me if I should go with the sum and the skimmer.

Thanks

I would go with 2 overflow boxes leading down into a sump. Where you keep the skimmer. Skimmers tend to give off bubbles and thats why you have bubble traps in the sump. Thats how I would do it. Make sure the overflow boxes have pre-filters.
