Calcium help please.

My Calcium is at 620, how do I go about lowering it to aroung 420. my tank is a 20 gallons. thanks

Time. Your tank will eventually use it up. If you need it lower now, then a water change will do it.

ya stop adding calc and it will go down as your tank uses it up. other question is why and how did it get so high. what ever you add or remove do it slowly and test often

Test your alk also.....................if your calcium is that high, your alk is probably pretty low.

Do 20% water changes every other day until the calcium is back in line. You're gonna have problems keeping your alk up until your calcium is back around 400-440.

Unless you have a good reason for your Ca++ to be so high, I would suspect test kit error.
