I live on the 2nd floor of my apartment and I have a 125g in one room and a 75g reef with 20g sump in my bedroom. I've never had a problem with the weight issues if thats your concern.

I've had a 37 flex the floor enough that the adjacent door refused to shut. What can I say - the rent was cheap!

I had a 75 in the same unit, different room and it was A-OK.

I had a 180 on the second floor for about 3-4 years, a friend had a 240 in the same building (3rd floor) with a 300 gal horse trough sump in his other room (dont ask) for a year or 2.
Neither of us had any issues with them.

Same here, 90G in a 3rd floor apartment for 4 years. When I left you couldn't tell it had been there - other than the four 4x4 divits my stand left in the cheap carpet.
