I would like to know how many corals I can put in my 40 gal breeder tank without overloading the bio load. They will be a combinations of soft corals, zoos, mushrooms, and lps. Right now I have 2 ocellaris clowns,1 royal gramma and 1 bi-color blenny. My set-up has a 15 gal. refugium with an urchin skimmer and a uv sterlizer. My lighting is a pc with total 192 watts, my water turnover rate is right at 10 times per hour plus I have 2 seio 620 gph running and a power filter running with chem-pure. I also got my full cleaning crews working too.

Load it up. Corals are not going to affect your bioload unless you plan on feeding them alot. Since your not going to keep a ton of sps then you don't have to worry about the calcium being taken up to quick.

As much as you can fit (as long as they aren't stinging each other) and leave room for them to grow.

As many as your VISA will allow.

As many LPS and softies as you want, but the PC might limit you in sps.
