or is my scooter blenny starving. I have had him little over a week in my 30 and he wasn't eating and tonight he ate a bit of brine. is he so hungry that it will eat it or did i get a good one.

Edit: I read lawnmower blenny :/. Make sure you have healthy live sand, if he is eating brine...at least hes eating!

i feed the fish some squid today and the scooter looked like he was trying to eat some of it so i must have gotten a good one to have it accept the prepared stuff.

no camera its not a very big one maybe 2 inches long.

mine eats mysis and formula 2 algae. It's funny... his mouthis too small for the littletiny cubes of f2 so he shakes them and sometimes traps them under his body.

Do you have a refugium or any other source of live pods? If not, that would explain why he is starving. Although many can be trained to eat frozen food, many rely solely on a live food source to stay alive (like mandarin dragonettes).

no. I dont know if he is starving for sure but he is eating frozen foods now so i dont think i will have to worry it starving just have to make sure that the food is full of nutrients and what not.
