I have been waiting for and searching for an Achilles Tang for quite a while and was wondering if you guys knew when you might get another (or even better, if you have one in QT now!).
Thanks for your help.

nosferatu51,

Thank you for your inquiry on the Achilles Tang. We currently have one in quarantine in our Aquaculture Coral & Marine Life Facility that should be available on Divers Den near the middle of next week.

Would you happen to know its approximate size, etc and if there was a way I could get a 1st look at it?

nosferatu51,

The approximate size of the Achilles Tang is 4”. We apologize however to be fair to all customers we are unable to provide first looks.

Do you have a better idea now that time is close of when this fish will go up? I don't want to miss it.
In all honesty, unless it has some really off coloration (which I doubt given my experience with your fish so far), I would be willing to buy it now.

nosferatu51,

As we have previously mentioned, the Achilles Tang is expected to be available for ordering sometime this week. If you would like to receive notifications on new newly added Diver’s Den items, we recommend signing up for our e-mail updates at the following link:

I had it in the cart and my cable internet slowed to a crawl (took me 30 minutes to reach the final checkout page). Needless to say, I did not get it... it was sold between me reaching steps 3 and 4 of the checkout process. I'm seriously going to KILL Comcast! Fortunately, I've discovered they may have a couple more soon ;)

Is there a time of year where you guys seem to get this fish in more frequently?

Yoboyjdizz,

Thank you for your inquiry. The Achilles Tang is a difficult species to obtain any time of year. However, we do have two that will be added to our Diver’s Den shortly. You can sign up for our Diver’s Den email alert. You will then receive an email as soon as any new items are added. We have included a link below.

I assume they will go up tomorrow since I haven't seen them go up yet? I've been there within 5 minutes of the new Diver's Den stuff going up every day.

nosferatu51,

Thank you for your question. We expect the Achilles Tang to be added to Diver’s Den within the next week. Being signed up for the Diver’s Den email alert is the best way to be notified when new items are added.

You missed me dancing for joy when I snagged the one up today. I look forward to meeting him (her?) on Thurs. Thanks for the help.
