Has anyone successfully reduced/eliminated red bugs in their tanks with pipefish? I have a mandarin and fear that using Interceptor would kill all his food.

No, have had a orange/red banded pipefish for some time and one or two acros with redbugs. No difference, still there.

Pipe fish don't reliably work and I don't know that I have read about anyone getting rid of red bugs with one.....maybe controlling them to a ceartain extent but that's hit and miss. FWIW I know 2 locals who treated their tanks with mandarins and the fish didn't skip a beat. Typically the pods recover in a fairly short period of time.

Thanks to everyone for their help. Looks like Interceptor is the way to go....
