Trading UV for Ozone

Hey all,

It looks like I am going to trade my Aqua UV 25w for ozone for my 110g SPS tank. I like the clarity of UV but it seems the ozone will do a better job at it and give me a better ORP (have a controller).



Bad idea?

The problem i have when i put my ozone on, the skimmer stop working even with very little dose.
I will stay with the UV even if the water get a little hotter . At list the skimmer will work ;)

I don't have problem with the skimmer at all, and I prefer ozone over UV. although I have both on my tank. The clarity the ozone gives is a lot better than what UV can do. It does turn your water more blue.
