Is this a clam and what kind?

I know that clams are a hard coral to keep and need lots of light and know how just to keep them!!But when i looked at my 10 gal nano and saw this it is all i can make out of it.I am new to this and only been keeping saltwater for a year and that is only FOWLR and a few shrooms.So i took a few pictures and would be thankful for any info on what this is,is it bad ,and if not how can i keep it!!!!This is why i really enjoy my tanks!!!!To see something new grow and just pop up:) !!!!!Here are a few pictures not good but the best i can get for now!

It has been closed the last day or two and when i saw it this morning all i could say was WOW!!

Oh well not what you want to here but it is still fun to see new things pop up in my tank!!!!!

yes it has been closed every time i saw it the last two days and this morning it is open.
