One of the Sedra 9000 pumps on my skimmer jammed up after a power outage. I don't know how long it was stuck. I pulled the pump apart and the impeller was REALLY hard to get out. The question is, should I replace all the internals (impeller, magnet, rubber inserts, shaft) or what? Or, do I need to purchase another pump? I have thought about putting the internals of another 9000 into the one that broke to see if it works, but I don't want to shut the skimmer down. Any help would be appreciated.
thanks

run your finger along the inside of the impellar well in the pump body, if the surface is still smooth than you can simply replace the impellar assembly, if it is marked and scratched up then replace the entire pump.

Achilles,
Quick question. Does the magnet portion of the impeller appear to be swollen? I had the same thing happen to me on my CS6-2 with a Sedra 3500 (I think that's the model). This is the second impeller I have had do this (this is after say a year of operation). I am trying to see if it has happned to anyone else. I also e-mailed tech support to see what they have to say.
