Color changing and non color changing and the meg-ohm rating of 15 and 18, they both produce ultra pure water. The preferred resin is the nuclear grade color changing by far.

Ooops, I guess I just ordered the wrong resin refill then. I had thought the nuclear grade came in both color and non color changing.
I had always thought that non color changing resin was preferred because it didn't release the parts per billion dye into the final water?

Howard the dye being an issue is an urban myth like many things in RO/DI. Color changing resin outsells non color changing by 25 to 1. In our Purolite bulk resin both color and non color are nuclear grade but not in our premium resin as non color changing is semi-conductor grade. All of our cartridges are packed with our premium grade resin.
