Is one of these better than the other? Anyone have personal experience?

Either would work really. The American DJ power center seems to be a common choice around here.

Do yourself a favor and get the American DJ.

I've got a Technical Pro that I got at my local music shop. I got it because the switches were blue, lol and it was free. Other than that all of them are pretty much the same.

carlos fb,

Why the American DJ? What experience do you have with these?

Because they're readily available on eBay and it's what most people use. Seems like a bandwagon thing to me. Internally they're all almost identical.

Yes, and the switches light up! Essential feature!

But seriously, it helps a ton vs unplugging and plugging stuff back in constantly. Easier to switch a switch.

Yeah, thats what I was thinking...
Plus, if cut a whole for it and mount it somehow, it will look really hi-tech/clean....

since the rocker switches are lit when ON, it's easy to see which equipments are running "at a glance"

There is a difference in some of these units. I originally ordered a DJ PC100A through an online vendor and recieved an American Audio brand unit (not the DJ PC100A) that was made in China nad the quality was horrible - this was a bait and switch issue that was ultimately resolved through a refund. The DJ PC100A is made of very high quality parts and construction and I highly recommend it.

To be precise, the online vendor I mentioned (you can figure out who by the AA product name I mentioned) actually never returned my phone calls or emails and this had to be resolved through my CC. I add this only to forewarn my fellow reefers from getting (#$^)&$! I had alot of greef from this in the iterest of saving $10 per unit - do yourself a favor and by the DJ PC100A units.
