uploading pics

Hey guys,
I now this may not be the best forum for this questions, but i don't know where to put it.
How the heck do you upload pics on my RC. I have tried and tried and everytime it says that the file is too big. I downloaded the Irfanview stuff and ran it too, but no luck.
What format do you put them in???
Also how do you make your avatar custom?

The easiest way to post pictures here on RC is to use [IMG] tags. Here's a thread on how to post a picture by using a photobucket acount:

As for the custom avatar, you need 100 post before you are able to upload a custom avatar.
