ok found 1 was willing to spend around $500 but it is $1,400...and currently out of stock...further research has shown that they are being captive bred and have a larval stage of 110 days......we want a unique dwarf angel for the 55g but not go bankrupt either

You're probably digging up old information here and I hate to deliver bad news but Frank of rcthawaii (http://www.rcthawaii.com/rct/4.htm) was the only one breeding C. Interruptus. (and many other Centropyges)
He is unfortunately taking an extended break from his work... It could be a couple years or more before we see fish from him again... :(

I havent seen any wild cought Interruptus for sale in several months.
And even more unfortunate, they seem to be going in the $1,200-$1,500 price range now.

Even more bad news, an Interruptus probably isnt the best Centropyge for a 55g tank.
These fish can get rather large. I have seen wild ones in the 6"-7" range.
They are also not the easiest wild caught Centropyge to get eating prepared foods...

If you DO find some for $500 please let me know! :)

If your interested in a really nice looking Dwarf Angel, Get over and see Dan.
I was there today and He had two of the most vibrant C. Potteri I think I have ever seen.
Very fat and healthy looking! One come home with me... :)

The orange yellow and blues just jump off of this fish!

I picked up the last available one thursday. Had one other smaller one that was sold and being held for someone. So far tank mates aren't too bent out of shape, accept the anthia, it has issues but is improving. Will post a pic when i get done with my re-working of my pumps.

oldreefer76,

I just have the one male, for the moment.
Those pics are all the same fish, I just couldnt decide which one I liked better. :D

That last small female on hold that cove mentioned is for me and getting picked up in, ohh, 'bout 12 hours. :)

When I went back to get the two females I eneded up not getting one at all but then later talked to Dan on the phone and he said he would hold her til I could make it back up again...

Cove, you got the biggest male of the bunch. :)

My male is finally starting to eat some brine and even a little flake. Still hides a lot when anyone is around but glad he is eating now.

Well the last one left the store today.

They look like long lost friends. :) Both are doing well.
This little female has the coolest personality, swims around with out a care in the world. Shes so tiny I think she could get lost in there...

Matty, if your going to go in debt, I couldnt think of a better place to do it. :D

Mine is still exploring the tank and all the undersides of the rocks. He is getting pretty brave and comes to the glass as long as you don't make quick movements. I see him picking at the rocks, but hasn't really started to eat with the crowd yet.
