I found 2 things in my tank and I dont know what they are. I just got new lights and they have 4 moon light LED,s and Im seeing all sorts of action when the lights go out.... One are these long tentical like things that come out of my live rock. They are white and range from about 1 inch to about 4 (there are 5 that I saw). The other is this creature that looks like a centipede, its brown and about 1-3 inches (saw a couple). They all hide when the lights come on. Anyone know what they are? Are they bad?
thanks

White tentacles: Brittle stars perhaps. Are they usually in groups of 2 or 3 sticking out of the rock? Watch long enough and they may crawl out and across the rock and you will see they are true sea stars. Good to have.
Centipede: Bristleworms. Used to be considered potentially bad, but now most consider them harmless and useful as they are good scavengers and add to bio-diversity.
