Does anyone know if a wrasse will clean your tank of bristle worms? If so, does it matter which type of wrasse?

Thanks.

unless you have an overabundance of BW's, they do help keep the sand loose and help in cleaning of your subtrate.

Worm populations correlate to the amount of (over)feeding. Once you cut down your feedings (meaning you take out fish - don't starve them by decreasing the amount of added food), the worm population follows.

That being said, they're neat creatures, a great clean-up crew, fine entertainers and usually not detrimental to anything except an occasional aquarist's hand when reaching for the rocks with no prophylaxis (gloves).

^^ Agreed! Bristleworms are a direct sign of a nutrient rich tank (which is bad)

Don't blame the bristles!! They are probably the only thing keeping your whole tank from crashing.
