We bought the JBJ ATO system. Basically, all you need is a bucket or other container, a pump, some hosing and the unit, and it will top off whenever the level reaches whatever level you choose. We have ours in the stand, topping off into the sump.

We were having to top off a gallon or so a day, now we just need to fill the tank once or twice a week.

By the way, putting a top off system hooked up to an RO unit is a potential disaster (flood/massive salinity drop) waiting to happen if there is a failure in the system.

For added security, make sure whatever you have the topoff water in is not so large that if it all went into the tank it would overflow the sump.
