Green star polyps, xenia, mushrooms, most leather corals, and zoas are easy, good beginning corals!

You could keep a few stonies in a 20g, like caulestra, frog, hammer, torch...but if you do that, in a small tank, you will have to be very careful with alkalinity, ph, calcium and salinity. Very, very small swings. Also do not mix in softies: they don't thrive as well together, and they don't tolerate phosphate in the water or nitrate/ammonia, though particulates are perfectly fine.

The whole range of softies, however, is equally beautiful---cranky and prone to chemical warfare, so stand by with carbon to calm them down, but more tolerant of the things stonies don't tolerate. Weekly water changes of 10% will keep them generally supplied with trace elements, etc and calcium, since they don't lay down stony skeletons. But do have tests for alk and ph and salinity [meters, for the last 2] and stand by to keep your buffer up and your salinity level with a topoff system.

Either will do ok with those lights.

Ditto on Starstruck. I'd add montipora's if you have good lighting.
