my clams mouth has been open really wide for the past few days. he seems to be opening fine when the lights turn on, its just that one of the openings is way lager then what i see in picture of other people crocea clam. is this a bad sign? or is it normal? it seemed to start after he fell over one day and i was aw work and he sat upside down for half a day. when i righted him it looked like he was partially ripped on the bottom, and you could see in the top hole, right through to the bottom. the hole has healed now, but his mouth is still opening really wide. any thought or suggestions? and i can get pics if needed.
