how much calc? it is at 450ppm now.

That is the normal range, so if you can maintain it at 450 ppm, they should be fine. Alkalinity and Magnesium should be considered as well. Alk should be 8 to 11 dKH, and Magnesium should be 3x the calcium level, or 1350 based on your current reading.
