View Full Version : need help with a kenya tree(?)

i just bought a kenya tree coral(well, thats what i think it is from melevs reef) and i would like to know where it should be placed, flow ect. I only got it yesterday and it hasn't opened up yet. I'm not sure if this is normal or not, But i would like help. All advice is apreciated!

That sounds normal. They seem to like moderate light levels and low to moderate flow, from what I can tell, but they're not that picky.

Mine used to close up for days on end and open up bigger than before. It's part of their normal cycle.

oh btw, my lighting is 1 15 watt, 18 inch, T6 superflux high lumen flourescent lamp.
