I found this stuff at HD, and I was wondering if it is reef safe.
It comes from Norton Abrasives.
#1 is WallSand drywall sanding pads. They are silicon carbide particles bonded to ( I think ) a fiberglass mesh. They say they are water proof, washable & reuseable. I have used them for the intended purpose, and they are pretty much indestructible.
I dont think I will have ANY problem with the SiCarbide it is almost completely non-reactive.
#2 is from the same company, and it is a scrub pad very similar to the pads above ( the title says REPLACEMENT for steel wool, it has no steel in it ). It says "wont rust, shed, or splinter ).

I think I may try some MAG-12 meshmods.
