I've recently picked up a coral that was told to me to be Efflatounaria, I was hoping to see other pics of this coral. If you have a pic can you please post it.
I will get a pic of mine tomorrow, it was yellow with purple polyps when I saw it in the tank about 6 mos. ago. I recently had it shipped to me and it looks totally different.
Please post pics.
Thanks

I just got mine from a friend and its browned out. I saw it in his tank in Feb. and it was yellow with bright purple polyps.

Ive got a coral that Ive heard is rumored to be Eff., but I really doubt it. Could you post up some pics of yours once it is opening up in your tank?

I will get a pic of it tomorrow, but like I said it has lost its stunning colors, I did see it when it was yellow with purple polyps. Looks similar to a colt but more stubby branches.
Any idea on if it is a high light or lower light coral? It was under T5's so I put it under a 250 DE Halide.

Im more interested in seeing the growth pattern (though the color description you gave does sound pretty cool...)
Like I said, I really dont know what mine is for sure, but it does seem to love light. I have mine right at the top of the tank- it has grown enough that it can break the surface- under 250wt halides.
