I have a C. argi in a mixed reef. No problems, & I cannot find any literature saying they will eat SPS. They have been known to eat Xenia, some other softies. Tracophyllia ( Is there anything that doesn't eat these???), & nip clam mantles. Being smaller than a lot of Centopyge, they cause less damage too when they nip.
Just rember though, it always comes down to the individual fish, not the species itself..
Sincerely,
Matthew

I have an argi and have no problems but like Sheol said, it's a roll of the dice with all Angels.

I kept a Brazilian Flameback (Centropyge aurantonotus) for 5 years in a mixed reef in my 46 gallon bowfront. I didn't have any SPS. I had mostly LPS a few softies, zoas and rics. He never touched any coral. I think they are worth giving a shot. They are one of my favorite fish. From the reading I have done it seems like the 3 angles you picked are the most reef safe.

I've had my flameback in my 29 for about 2 months now. So far he has not nipped at anything. The tank is mainly SPS, but I also have zoas in there. I not sure if he will change his habits, but so far so good. All my SPS show good polyp extension during the day, along with during the night time.
