water current questions...

i have 2 larger flow powerheads in a 60 cube tank... it causes sand to shift far too much for my liking.

now, with these two powerheads flow is obviously coming from the nozzle. i bought and drilled some tubing with a capped end to make the water flow disperse... is this a better idea? will it have benefits? downfalls?

What sort of powerheads are you using? I have a 64 cube, and have 5 different ones in it (MJ 1200 x 2, 600 x 2, Rio 600), but have had no problems. Where are they pointed?
