i have a question about playton if i pour marine snow in my fudge will it grow or does it need to have light

Marine Snow (if you're talking about the actual Two Little Fishies product) isn't live. It won't do anything aside from pollute your tank if it's not taken up right away.

Live phyto won't grow in a tank setup like that either, it will be taken out quickly by the filter system, skimmer, etc. You need to have a dedicated phyto growing system.
