I just had this shipped to me from an online vendor. Is it me or is there tissue necrosis and possibly AEFW's on this coral?

Soli? Thats too bad. Can't really tell if they're FW's or not, but its receding for sure. 2nd pic kinda looks like FW bitemarks. Either way, keep on eye on it to make sure it doesnt get worse & spread further. GL

Yeah it's a soli I believe. :(
I gave it a dip in FW exit and Tropic Marin Pro Coral Cure and put it in quarintine.

Good. It should come back. Looks like it was touching something else on top. And thats strange cause my soli wins every one of those battles ;) Probably a mille or something.....

I couldn't find any FW's on the coral or in the bucket, so they might be hiding really well on the colony. The necrosis seems to be spreading. I doubt it will survive.

I'm just a little disappointed it would get shipped like this.

Have you try to dip with fluke tab? All my new corals will go throught a long process of dipping, starting with fluke tab for 1hr, interceptor for 3hrs, and TMPCC for 25 mins. All my corals brown out after the process but i rather be saved than sorry....

I haven't used the fluke tabs, but will try some if this coral pulls through.

Agree with what REEFER714 said. It's always best to dip any new corals before adding to the display tank. Its always best to be safe than sorry. Just too many nasties out there anymore.

I do the same thing no matter where the corals come from. Hope it makes it for you. You may want to get a frag of it just in case you lose the colony.
