So i started my tank at the beginning of the summer. And after i finally got a little bit of livestock into it, it was time to move back to school. So here are some pictures of my temp tank with all of my livestock, and the mod'd 12g AP that was my tank over the summer coming together. Here goes, comments/suggestions are welcome.

Well here are some updated tank shots. Ill be posting more.
I got this sexy shrimp Saturday. Its been doing awesome so far and always swaying back and forth. Im planning on getting a Twin Spot Goby next or a Pink Dotty goby. Anyone have any recommendations? Also...could anyone tell me what kind of clown i have? I recieved him free from a brackish tank and the owner did know.

Thanks!
Sven

dont get the twin spot, the are sand sifting gobies and are known to starve in smaller tanks. If it were me I would get another clown (yours looks like an ocellaris) so that you could have a pair. get a smaller one that looks healthy.
are any of these the other goby?

or these

if it is any from the first link provided, then stay away from it. if not what about from the secong link? personally if it were me I would get the clown, and then at least 2 more sexy shrimp, then call it quits. If you want more then 2 fish consider a trimma or eviota goby of some sort, they all stay at about 1", or maybe a clown goby, which stays at about 1 1/2".

what kind of corals are those? what is the lighting? why was the clown in a brakish tank? dont know about the SPS, srry. what fish are in there now?

Well right now all i have is a bi color blenny, a GBTA and that clownfish. As for my corals. I have a trumpet coral, some green star polyp, two frags of zoas and the sps. Also i have the mushroom rock on the right with like 10 shrooms on it. I wanted to get a cleaner shrimp for my fish and to keep parasites down. Also i wanted something that will keep my sand white. I hate how it always has poo and its dirt colored. thanks

Ive also got a CC of about 10 blue dwarf hermits, 3 nassarius, 3 smaller zombie snails, 1 big snail(name?)

I feel like that's a pretty big cleanup crew for a 12gal. In my 29gal, I have one hermit, 1 astrea snail, and 2 conches. Been seeing a bit of algae growth so I may need another hermit and snail. In the 55gal, we have 5 hermits, 5 big snails, a couple astrea, and 10-15 small nassasrius/cerith snails. The 55 gal is kept pretty clean with these guys.

Yeah, me and my friend from work put it together. Well it was mainly him because hes an electrician but yeah. Cost roughly 80$ to make i think? Really easy and the lighting is so much better than the stock.

Someone mentioned that i may have to big of a cleaner crew. How many would be ideal for my tank? I have 10 hermits, 3 turbos, 3 nassarius, 1 astrea, and 3 other snails that i dont remember.

Looks great. I'm not to fond of hermits, so I'd recommend getting more snails. IME hermits end up becoming more of a nuisance... they love to kills snails rather than munch of algae.
