View Full Version : How long of a break in period for my skimmer

I have a coralife super skimmer and just turned it on today. But all it is doing is pumping water through and not creating any kind of skimate. Is there something wrong or does it need to break in?

Corallife suggest 3 days for break in

They recommended throttling "adjustment valve" on the pump during the break-in period. Have you done that?
