On the display of my ACjr. (in the characters section) my heater/chiller characters are sometimes replaced w/ a "U". What does the "U" symbolize? I've checked the manual and can't find any reference to it's meaning. It only does it every now and then and never lasts very long. TIA.

It means the status of that timer is "Unknown". It happens most commonly with heaters and chillers after uploading a new program. The program sequence hasn't hit a state in your code to define if the timer should turn on or off. It's nothing to worry about...
