I just bought some at my lfs yesterday. Anyone have this coral? Does it spread like mushrooms or zoas?

its an LPS and no most of the time it grows pretty slow i havent tried fragging mine i think thats the main way of making them spread

Is it a flatter, submassive piece, or one with small heads and separate 'stalks'? B. wellsi is the flatter, typically larger coralite size and much more finicky. B. merletti's are generally hardier and grow faster (individual-to-grouped polyps on stalks). Not much spreads like mushrooms and some zoas (well, star polyps, clove polyps, a lot of softies, algae;), etc.)...
