Last year there was a canadian company with a cube tank set up with Led's on each corner of the tank and they would recreate a lightning storm or moon cycle over the tank. I was wondering if anyone had info on this company or the product itself, maybe even video.
Thanks

The lightning idea is pretty cool.

I cant remember their name, but I heard they will simulate clouds moving, different moon phases, they sound really cool, but also pretty freaking expensive.

I have to see that if they're at this year's MACNA. It's the weekend of Sept14th.
There's a vendor map at the MACNA site if that will help.

The company was Proline Aquatics out in Vancouver, BC area. I know what lighting system you are referring to that was at last year's MACNA, but I don't recall what name it went by. Check with Proline, but they deal strictly with dealers and not hobbyists.

I can understand moon phases because there are already similar products, but what would the purpose of a lightning storm be?
In a dark room, I'd assume that it would be very annoying.

It's probably the Profilux gear as Proline is the distributor for it.

This page (http://www.aquariumspecialty.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=49_234_249&osCsid=4e94703028747fd98dec257600e99209) has all the various Profilux leds on it.
From the people who own the Profilux LEDs I've heard the lighting effects are just spectacular.
