Hi, I just received 2 new 250W double end Ushio 10,000k from Marine Depot, they are both stamped 10,000k but for some reason one of them is burning with a blue hue, like a 14,000k bulb, I spoke to someone at MD and was told to run them for a week and it should change it's color spectrum, if not just call them back and they will send me a new one, has this happened to any one else in here, and did it change color, thanks in advance.

be thankful, I run 10k Ushio DE's and they're YELLOW. Maybe you'll get lucky and they'll stay blue =)
My bulbs are up for replacement soon and I can't wait.

Most Ushio DE 250W 10K are white on M80 ballast. Try running it for at least 100 hours.

True, it will change once it burns in.

the thing is, my tank looks funny, white on one side, and bluish on the other side.

I just put a Ushio 14k in one of my pendants. Even after a few days, the color was so yellow, more like a 5500k bulb. This morning, I took it out and flipped it over. Color is now a crisp white with a hint of blue. Try flipping, it may work for you.
