hi all,
I need to buy a new pale (most likely from home depot or the like) for storing RO water; i was hoping someone could confirm what type/grade of plastic is safe for this?

Also, can anyone recommend a second bucket/pale that would fit in a smaller area for water top-off? Is modifying a plastic storage pale meant for wrapping paper or something similar a safe option?
Thanks for reading.

RubberMaid Brute trash cans are safe and commonly used.

What about a salt bucket for the smaller area?

LLDPE 2 is the stuff used on BRUTE contasiners. The 2 or 4 is just the recylcling code though, not the actual plastic used.

I use a Rubbermaid Brute 44 gal. If you are looking for something smaller I would go with a used salt bucket.
