I purchased a BTA one week ago. At the LFS it was attached to a rock, so I purchased the rock with it. During the first night it moved from that rock to one of mine in the back of the tank facing the overflow.

Obviously this is not the best location as I can't hardly see it, and feeding it is almost impossible. Over the last couple of days I have tried to move lighting to entice it to move to rocks in front of the tank, and even aimed a power head in it's direction in order to get it to move.

Neither of these worked, the Anemone is perfectly happy where it is and won't move. Any ideas how I can get this to move to another rock?

Thanks !!!

BTA's while one of the easier to care for have the one drawback, traveling, many times even months or years after being in the same spot.
It's gonna go where it wants.
Best chance is to try to mimick light/flow that it seems to like at the spot where you really want it.

I re-arranged my rock work so that I could move the new "host" rock to face the glass. My RBTA didn't seem all that bothered by the move.

You might want to check out this website , Karens Rose Anemones. She's got some really good advice

She helped me get a new tiny anemone to move.

I just turn the rock around that it attaches to. I can put the rock just about anywhere in my tank and he will not come off of it. However, for you I would just try to adjust the rock he is on so you can see it a little better.
