Have some Dictyota that has hitchiked on some aquaculture colonies I purchased.

What fish is best to control? Rabbitfish/Naso Tang?

A naso might be large for a 120 gallon tank but I heard of some Rabbitfish picking on zoos etc........ Any other fish control Dictyota?

I already have a 3" Blue Tang, and 3" Kole Tang which is why I want to avoid adding another Tang.

Is this the same as sargassum?

If so, then I doubt that any fish will eat it. I have never had tangs or rabbits eat it (I got some on a plug too, along with byropsis).

I removed as much as I could by hand and mexican turbos took care of the rest.

Mexican turbos are your best bet, but you will need a lot of them. They will eat any type of macro after the "easy" algae is gone. After they are done eating it, you will not have enough algae to keep them alive and you should get rid of most of them.

Some rabbits will eat coral - you heard right.

No it is a brown algale that Naso Tangs and Rabbitfish eat. Not Sargassum.

I guess I am stuck with a Naso or Rabbitfish. Urchin would knock over all my SPS frags.

Pros and cons of different Rabbitfish? Two-barred, Orange Spotted, Magnificent, Scribbled, Foxface etc....... Are they all the same as far as temperment and care requirements?

I had a huge outbreak of this stuff....I tried a scribbled rabbit first and it only ate it so-so. The naso gobbled it up though!

A huge outreak meaning how much? I only have 5" X 5" patch of it. Do you think a scribbled could handle this much?
