The only way I am able to feed my brain coral is to stop all movement in the tank and to leave the pumps off until it has eaten. This is kind of a hassle (restart overflow, turn on refugiun, etc.) Does anyone do anything different?

Yup, that is pretty much how you have to do it. My brain seems to do fine with out feeding ,they seem to get enuogh food and energy from my lighting.I still feed every couple of week because i enjoy watching them feed.
You might be able to cut the bottom off a two litre soda bottle and place it over the brain and squirt some mysis into the mouth of the bottle . the shrimp should settle onto the brain for easy feeding!
any pics?
