what goes in first, the clam or the flame angel?

The flame angel is the fish that got me into the hobby, so I have to have it. I had one before and it was the most peaceful fish I had.

But I didn't have any clams.

I know flame angels are one of the best angels for reefs... but there is still the chance.

Would it be better if I got my clams before the the angel?

I would like to get three clams eventually, but that will probably be over the course of 6 months.

I would really like to get the flame angel asap though.

How aggressive do they get to things like clams that are added after they are?

Get the flame first. Get him used to the food and tank then add clam.

Or QT him for a while (as you should) and get him to piggin down on the prepared/frozen foods.
