Hello,
Just wondering if you knew whether or not you have any Pinktail Trigger's possibly coming in soon to Diver's Den? Do you have any currently acclimating? If not, any idea when you might get some and what possible size? I'm looking for one 6" or larger.
Thanks much :)

pottersguy,

Thank you for contacting us with your question. We apologize it has taken us so long to respond. We have checked with our Aquacultural Coral & Marine Life Facility and we will not have any of Pink Tail Triggerfish available for a week or two. We recommend signing up for the Diver’s Den Alert as soon as the website is updated we will send you an email letting you know.

So does that mean you currently have some Pinktails in quarantine, and they should be available on Divers Den in a week ar two?
Thanks

pottersguy,

Thank you for your interest in the Pinktail Triggerfish. We checked with our Aquaculture Coral and Marine Life Facility and yes, we currently have one of them in quarantine. It should be added to our Diver’s Den page next week. It is between 3” to 4” in size. We recommend signing up for the Diver’s Den alerts, and as the website is updated we will send you an email. These are beautiful fish for any aggressive aquarium.

Thanks for your help,
Sorry to keep bugging you, but I have a few more questions for you.
Do you know how often you get Pinktail's, because I'm looking for one a little larger (6" plus). Also, do you see Hawaiian Black Triggers/Black Durgeons much?

pottersguy,

Thank you for contacting us with your questions. Please feel free to always ask questions, as we truly enjoy answering any questions you may have. We offer Pink Tail Triggerfish about twice a month in our Diver’s Den section. We also offer them on our Live Aquaria website where they are available more frequently. Black Dragon Durgeon Triggers are usually offered on Diver’s Den about once a month. These fish would make wonderful additions to a FOWLR aquarium.

If you have any further questions please contact us at 1-800-334-3699.

Thanks Stacie,
Just to clarify--when you say Black Dragon Durgeon Trigger, you talking about (Melichthys niger) correct?

pottersguy,

That’s a great question. Yes that is the Black Hawaiian Triggerfish; Melichthys niger that I was referring to. Here is a link to it on our website: http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=249&N=0
