I have a pillar I made in my tank that I thought would be a great spot for zoos. It gets good flow and full light. After having 2 different colonies there for a month I moved them since I had no growth at all. Here is a shot. It's the area on the upper left.

So far I have zoos, ricordias, pollyps, mushrooms, and gsp. All easy beginner corals.

What would be a good choice of coral to put there?

If you are thinking about hard corals, a montipora cap or digi would be a good starter SPS. What kind of lights do you have?

I have the 48" Aquactintics Solar Flare. It's a 6 bulb T5 fixture that overdrives 54w bulbs to 85w. I was thinking of some kind of LPS since SPS are for more established tanks?

Brains, get a huge lobo or some sort of Euphyllia.
