The last month I have been feeding my Nassarius snails Wardley shrimp pellets. A few minutes ago I was reeding the ingrediants and it list copper sulfate. I know copper is a no-no in a reef tank. Is this the same copper? Have I done any damage?

Not sure if it will hurt, but I stopped using it when I read the ingredients a couple years ago. Formula I and II are pretty good and so is cyclopeeze as far as flake foods go.

Some animals actually need some cooper especially certain mollusks. It is quite common in a number of foods. You are not the first to ask :D

I wouldn't worry. I'd just use the food, if it's labeled for saltwater use.

It is not labeled for saltwater use. I think I will er on the side of caution and stop feeding it.
