I love the way these look and have never kept a butterfly before... my new tank will be lps dominated with some sps should it be a problem?

Yes, they could be a problem. Very few have had success with them in reef tanks.

Those who have had even the slightest success have QT/Isolated them for long periods of time until they are eating all offered foods. This seems to keep them away from the coral.

I had moderate success with a pair for a while, but I recommend it to nobody. I was never satisfied that they would leave the coral alone long term.
