mods:

Took everything out of the rear chambers. (trays, sponge)
widened the wall between chambers 1 and 2
chamber 1 - Visi-Therm Stealth Heater-50 Watt
chamber 2 - 2lbs of lr rubble from premiumaquatics, filter floss
chamber 3 - Mini-Jet 606, temp probe (in the tank at the moment didnt trust it in the back.)
Hydor Flo (relaced it with the stock output, didnt like the way it reduced the flow)

I purchased 10lbs of nano liverock Kaelini and fiji from premiumaquatics, im not sure how much i have in the tank i tossed a few pieces so i guess somewhere around 7-8 lbs in the display.
10lbs of Carib Sea AragAlive (took out some have about 6-8 pounds in there maybe less)

In the near future im going to add a light and cheato to chamber 2.
and a y connector for my output. Down the long road i will upgrade the lighting.

My temps have been jumping from 79 to 82 and my last tests came up as:

sg - 1.025
ph - 7.8
am - .25
ni - .25
na - 20

that was from yesterday the 5th day the tank has been up and running.

question, can anyone tell me what the purple tree like thing in the tank is?

I am thinking that it is some kind of coral.

What kind of features does it have? Soft? Wavy?

It might be a macro algae.
Can you describe it better?

Heres a closer pic. the branches are soft and its kinda fluffy,
and the white string on it is a strand of filter floss.

I have another question, I have sand in my chambers from when i added sand to the tank it got all in the back its not much but its there.
is it ok to leave it there or do i need to remove it?

Does it move? it looks like a Decorator Crab
..Just a thought.
