I have a toadstool leather that when i bought it was 3.5 inches across. It has grown to almost 6 inches now but doesn't really extend it polyps anymore. I have been dosing with 2 part alk/ca solution every couple of weeks and my levels are stable. I also dose iodine every couple weeks. I feed phyto every three days. Does anyone have any ideas or experience with this?

Have you moved it recently or changed the flow patterns in your tank?

I moved it about one month ago and also lowered the flow in the tank.

Have you tested your Iodine levels? It's apparently very easy to overdose.

I know that they like flow, so maybe that is an issue?

Rawskyje; you say you dose, do you test?

"I also dose iodine every couple weeks."

I doubt you're using that much Iodine you need to dose it that often, I would test.
