4x54w T5s...should I add power compacts?

I'm running the Tek 4x54w T5 kit with SLR reflectors over a 75g. I have an extra Coralife 2x65w power compact fixture. Is it worth the time and money to cram it into my canopy with the T5s? Or am I good with just the T5s for SPS? Here's a pic...

they really shouldn't be necessary but for an SPS dominated setup a 6 bulb setup or overdriving the 4 you have would be a better choice.


your pagoda doesn't look to happy, I'm hoping that was just a bad day when the pic was taken?? also the Monti caps are going shade out anything below them as they start to grow, you may want to lower them near the bottom of the tank.

overdrive the bulbs. Why waste the electricity on the less efficient power compacts...
