QT Red Scooter?

My understanding is that the Red Scooter is a member of the dragonett family and may not eat prepared foods. Does this mean it is ich resistant like a mandarine and also shouldn't be QT'd like a mandarine?

Scooters and mandarines can and do get ich. they have a thicker slime coat then other fish which is what started this myth. I didn't QT my mandarine or scooter cause I couldn't supply enough pods for the QT. I got lucky and have had no problems.
