orp 275 on ac3 correct?

couple of months ago i upgraded my unit to an ac3. i had one of the old units that was sold about 8 years ago or more. i installed it and was talking with curt about getting bad orp readings. i am getting a 275 range. we ran some test.. putting probes in seprate containers of tank water. turning temp comp off ect.

last month i updated the software which curt felt might correct the issue. however it is still reading int he 275 range.

perhaps my tank is in the 275 range.. but on the old neptune controller it was reading higher

Make sure that you have the latest (at least 3.2) firmware installed in the controller, as some of the very old version had a bug in the ORP code.

yep.. i do and still same problem...

Plug the pH probe into ORP connector; it should read zero if the pH of the solution the pH probe is in is above 7.0. If so the AquaController is most likely working correctly. So you can then either calibrate the ORP probe using the procedure in the manual, or perhaps if the ORP probe is old it needs to be replaced.
