My Ocellaris male has been watching this area of live rock a lot for the last week or two. These white dots are new. Are they eggs?

I put my hand about an inch from the spot to see if either the male or female would get agitated, but there was no reaction from either one of them.

What do you think?

I'm 99% sure there eggs, but the male may not have fertilized them. Wait and see for now.

I've been waiting for the clowns to start laying eggs. I bought them in February.

This may be their first attempt.

I can't tell from the picture. My ocellaris and tomatoes usually have eggs with a distinct orange cast but that may be at the time I observe them.

wow, i never thought those could be eggs. I have the exact same looking stuff on my purple coralline algae too, right next to the anemone that my tomatoes host. I thought it was just some variation that the coralline produces. hmmm. interesting.
